How and why did you start with the art you do?

I've been drawing and painting since I was a kid, but I started painting watercolors when I was 12 years old. From then on, I took several courses and from the age of 27 I started to promote my work on Instagram. I can't exactly answer why, I just always liked to paint.

How do you get inspired? How do you decide on a certain motive?

My inspiration comes from my visual repertoire of artists past and present. And the choice of motive just depends on how much time I have available (some motives take longer than others).

From the idea to the realization, how do you approach your work?

I work from images provided by models and photographers. So, from the photographic sets they send me, I select the ones that I like the most, then I apply a digital treatment, do some composition studies and move on to painting.

Which artist had the most influence on your style?

Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and Anders Zorn.

Is there any artist you would like to work with one time?

No, I prefer to paint alone.

What are your interests apart from art?

    Philosophy, history and contemporary literature.

    Whats your favorite song?

I don't have any favorite songs.
